What Museums Are Free In Brussels?

There is no single free day. On the first Wednesday afternoon of the month, the permanent collections of the Art and History Museum, BELvue, Museum of Natural Sciences, Magritte Museum, Old Masters Museum, Royal Military Museum and MIM are free. On the first Sunday of the month, a different set is free, including the Brussels City Museum, Horta Museum, Design Museum Brussels, Fashion and Lace Museum and Sewer Museum. The Parlamentarium and House of European History are free every day. Temporary exhibitions are never free.

Is The Magritte Museum Free?

The Magritte Museum is not normally free, and going inside is ticketed on regular days. Free entry applies only on the first Wednesday of the month from 13:00, and only to the permanent collections, not temporary exhibitions. Free tickets are collected at the desk, with no online booking for the free entry.
